The broad aim is to inculcate a better understanding of the term heritage and how it can be more effectively and holistically included in the Smart City plan so that the plan is sustainable and citizen-friendly. Several professionals give their inputs on how this can be achieved.
The objective of the event is to create awareness around the concept of ‘Smart Heritage’ as part of the proposed smart city project. It envisages making the participants aware of effective heritage conservation, retrofitting of heritage sites, ecology, community participation, e-governance, and new operational technologies that could benefit the Smart City proposal.
