INTACH Heritage Academy is hosting a webinar series on INTACH Cities for Culture, curated specially for INTACH Chapters and its members. Developed by UCLG, the programme is based on Agenda for Culture which promotes Culture as the Fourth Pillar of Sustainable Development through international dissemination and local implementation of Agenda 21 for culture. In order to provide achievable and measurable international guidelines and standards, the UCLG has conceived nine “Commitments” to provide guidance for the work of the local governments linked to the Agenda 21 for Culture. These commitments aim to promote processes of self- evaluation leading to the better fulfillment and more effective implementation of public policies and strategies. The project needs extensive deliberations and other activities to work on the nine commitments with different stakeholders and with this they will get a better clarity on the subject. The series will have tn sessions and will go on from November 2020 - August 2021.
