Agreement amongst the Network Partners – INTACH, Europa Nostra (EN) and International Institute for the inclusive Museum – was finalized in March 2014

  • Design, Symbolism and Conservation of Sacred Historic Interiors – II: Ancient Temples, Madurai, Tamil Nadu – The workshop was conducted in collaboration with Tata Dhan Foundation, Madurai.
  • Documentation of Heritage Buildings, Chennai, Tamil Nadu – The faculty training program helped the participants to understand the importance of conservation of historic sites and analyzing their tangible and intangible factors.

  • Inception of: Smart Heritage, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune – The Mayor of Pune and CEO of the Pune Smart City project also attended the workshop.
  • Inception of: INTACH Cities for Culture, Pilot Event, Bhopal – A Memorandum of Understanding has also been signed between INTACH and Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Limited, spearheading the development of both heritage and cultural activity in the city of Bhopal.
  • Inception of: Smart Heritage, Smart City, Bhopal – Director General – Atal Bihari Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, was the Chief Guest at the inaugural session.
  • A MoU was signed between INTACH and Indian Railways Institute of Civil Engineering (IRICEN) with a common cause of documentation and promotion popularizing and research in conservation of Railway Heritage and Management.

  • INTACH Heritage Awards 2018
  • Materials and Equipment in Conservation, Institute of Conservation, Salzgries, Vienna – A 3-day workshop was hosted by the Institute of Conservation, University of Applied Arts and supported by the Embassy of India in Austria.
  • Lectures at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) – Former PD was invited as a resource person to deliver lectures in two sessions: ‘Cultural Heritage and Good Governance’
Collaborative Partnerships and Programmes
  • HRIDAY project assets management – A 4-day training programme on ‘Management of the Heritage Resources beyond the HRIDAY Scheme Period was organized at SPA Bhopal. PD was invited, as a Resource Person to make a presentation on Smart Heritage and Agenda 21 for Culture.
  • Lucknow Smart City project – The meeting focused on two main approaches: Renovation, Restoration and Redevelopment of Heritage and Smart Solutions for Smart Heritage & Tourism. As a result of this meeting, INTACH singed an MOU with Lucknow Smart Cities Limited to develop further work in field of Training, Capacity Building and Heritage Conservation projects in Lucknow.
  • A MoU was signed between NASA India and INTACH, where it was agreed that the later would moderate the LOUIS I KAHN trophy and be involved in the programme in the capacity of knowledge partner.
  • A MoU was signed between University of Applied Art, Vienna and INTACH on areas of collaboration identified as training, research and academic internship opportunities.
  • A MoU was signed between University of York and INTACH with an overarching aim to foster exchanges of teaching and training and develop their mutual research networks. This MoU superseded the MoU that was signed in 2011.
