Heritage Awards 2017

Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has initiated a nation-wide Heritage Awards programme for excellence in Documentation of Unprotected Heritage Structures in India. The INTACH Heritage Awards Programme is established with an objective to encourage interest and talent of students for the understanding and documentation of heritage buildings, and also develop and promote sensitivity and awareness amongst students of architecture across the country.
INTACH Heritage Academy is delighted to announce the results of the jury:
Award of Excellence (National level) ‘Building Stories’ Chakrata – Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai North Zone Award of Merit ‘Gulab Rai Ladiya Ki Haveli, Mandawa’ – School of Planning and Architecture, Poornima University, Jaipur Award of Commendation ‘Shikhar burj, Bundi’ – Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi Central Zone Award of Merit ‘Kuchaman Fort: a Case Study of Traditional Water Conservation System’ – School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal Award of Commendation ‘Revdanda – a Living Habitat’ – Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai South Zone Award of Merit ‘Zeenath Baksh Masjid, Mangalore’ – Srinivas School of Architecture, Mangalore Award of Commendation ‘Revitalisation of an Urban Space – PUDHU Mandapam, Madurai’ – Care School of Architecture, Trichy
The exhibition of all entries received by INTACH is on until 15 Dec 2017. Timings: 10am – 5pm
